Jesus Christ is Risen! (He is risen indeed)
St John 20 V-18 gives us a snapshot of conversations and events surrounding Jesus’ resurrection. We serve a risen King! What a wonderful and marvelous joy!!
May the Risen Christ be visible in our hearts and lives today and always.
Happy Easter to you and yours.

Ann,
Thank you for reminding us of the central message of Easter, which is the resurrection. Yes Christ had to suffer and die for our sins. However, our salvation is only made possible because of the Christ’s resurrection.
I applaud the makers of the miniseries The Bible on the History Channel. They remained close enough to the scriptural account of the crucifixion and resurrection and the early church that an individual could find the salvation message in it. I pray that it was used to bring souls to God.
In addition to film, literature can also be used to present the salvation message. Two poems in a little known book entitled “Let Us Be Gentle With Him, Joseph” recently spoke to me. Please check them out on my blog By’s Musings at its new addition http://higheredbybaylis.net/wp/bysmusings/2013/02/23/let-us-be-gentle-joseph-part-ii-nicodemus-and-joseph/
Glory to God,
Shalom and blessings

God bless you, Dearest By 🙂
We serve a risen Saviour. Amen! I’m thankful for the completed work.
I too offer commendations for The Bible. I have not been able to view all three sections as they aired, but I was able to save them for viewing after the stress of exams are over 🙂
Thanks for leaving your link too. I popped over for a short visit. Will come again soon.

We shout that He is risen and we KNOW He is risen because we know the REALITY of our experience with Him.
Your words – May the Risen Christ be visible in our hearts and lives today and always – cut to the quick. THIS is what matters. Unless others can see the risen Christ in us, they will not seek what we have. May every blood-bought, adopted child of the living God shine forth to someone this Easter season with the good news of the abundant life available to them in Christ.
Ann
Thanks you, Dearest Angela
“May every blood-bought, adopted child of the living God shine forth to someone this Easter season with the good news of the abundant life available to them in Christ.”
It seems the messages all around this Easter are the most passionate I have heard to date. I don’t know why, but every blog I’ve read, every sermon I’ve heard, and ever conversation I have been involved in on the subject has been so rich with His grace and so thankful for His plans for our life. Amazing Love indeed!

Praise God! I long to know Christ in His sufferings that I may attain the hope of the resurrection. May God richly bless you Ann as you finish out your semester.

1 week; 1 assignment; 1 exam; 1 project… then it’s done! God be praised!
